vintage travel

i am in love with vintage suitcases.  if it wasn't such a hassle, i would use old suitcases as my luggage.  unfortunately, the wheel ones are much easier to use.  even though i know i could always get the vintage collection of samsonite's black label, it just isn't the same.  etsy, where would i be without you?  you allow me to find what i need with the click of my mouse. i love looking at the vintage travel cases.  i may never get a suitcase, but i think i will be getting a vintage samsonite beauty case.    when the right one comes along, in the right color of course!

lottie frank

i am constantly on the look out for art prints to put up.  the best place to look is etsy of course! while scouring through pages and pages of digital art, i came across these prints from lottie frank by designer/illustrator lucy claydon.  i was instantly drawn to it.  it appealed to my fashion side the most.  even though i love all of them, i decided to get the first piece from the "never enough..." series.  and, when it becomes available, i'd love to get the other "never enough..." pieces.

big chill

what i would give to have one of these in my kitchen. made by big chill fridge, it's a retro look without sacrificing the amenities new refrigerators have now. there are eight wonderful colors to choose from. my faves: beach blue, cherry red, and orange. the price tag is a little hefty for me at the moment, over $2500, but they are so pretty to look at.

since their inception in 2001, they have also come out with matching dishwashers and stoves. for just a little over $500 you can buy the dishwasher panel instead.

this is something i really have to consider in the future.
